But what do you need to kickstart your new endeavour and how can I help you?

To answer the first part of the question of what you ‘need’:

○ You need to have ‘confidence and self-belief’ in your ability to be successful in what you are setting out to do.
○ You also need to have the requisite ‘competencies’ to successfully execute what needs to be done.
○ Lastly, you need to have the necessary ‘resources’ at your disposal that would enable you to be successful.

The above elements can be encapsulated in one word ‘enablement’. It lays the foundation of the developmental process that leads to true ‘empowerment’.

Before I address the second part of the question of ‘how I can help’, I want to pause at the concepts of mentoring and coaching and how they differ from each other.

○ The core focus of ‘mentoring’ is to transfer the mentor’s expertise and know-how,
○ whereas ‘coaching’ is a more non-directive process aimed at revealing the inherent potential the individual already has within.

That brings me to the point of ‘how I can help’ you to kickstart your new endeavour?

○ As a certified coach, my point of departure would be that the client ‘already has all the answers’.
○ However, I would hold that notion lightly as I believe we all have blind spots when we enter new territory. There are things that we don’t even know that we don’t know. Thus, as a subject matter expert of ‘new beginnings’ and ‘entrepreneurship’ I can help spot those unknowns.
○ I have fused the elements of enablement, mentoring and coaching into my unique approach where we can co-create a process that would be uniquely suitable and appropriate for you.
