INSPIRATION

During my so-called “midlife crisis”, I realised that this was not ‘who’ I wanted to be or ‘what’ I wanted to do with the rest of my life. I can’t think of a better way to explore the path forward than following the Ikigai Roadmap to find purpose and meaning.

MOTIVATION

At certain times in our lives, we find ourselves at a crossroads. The most important thing then is to gift yourself the time to pause and reflect. As your facilitator and someone who is also on this path of self-discovery, I will provide a safe space where you will explore your ‘ikigai’. You will be introduced to a practical roadmap on how to embark on a more meaningful and purposeful path.

COURSE CONTENT AND OUTCOMES

The emphasis of the workshop will be to introduce the concept of Ikigai and to provide some practical tips and exercises to discover the sweet spot at the centre, where doing what you love, what you are good at, and what you can be paid for is also giving the world what it needs.

The course content will cover the following:

Learning about the concept of ikigai.
Ikigai and positive psychology.
Emotions that hinder the fulfilment of our ikigai.
Wheel of Life: Assessing your current level of life balance.

Ikigai Roadmap:
Re-discovering what you are good at.
Reflecting upon what you really love to do.
Reflecting upon what you can give back to the world.
Brainstorming which careers or ventures would fulfil these.

Gaining clarity of your ikigai will assist you in leading a more fulfilled and balanced life.
Moreover, it will help you to live your life with intention, purpose and meaning. In addition, it could reduce your anxiety and stress levels and increase your resilience to cope with hardships.
