Enabling
Enabling individuals who contemplate a new position or career or just started a new position or career to gain more clarity of the career path that would be congruent with their inherent talents and core values and aligned with their expertise and passion, and also to attain a healthy work-life-balance.
COACHING SERIES & PROCESS
The initial focus of the strengths and values based coaching series will be to make your strengths and values explicit. The process will unfold in revealing your strengths from four perspectives, which include the CliftonStrengths assessment. The Strengths Wheel tool will help you integrate these strengths in your day-to-day life and align them with your aspirations. Determining your Core Values will reveal what matters to you most and which beliefs and values serve as your internal compass guiding you. The next phase of the coaching journey will unfold according to your specific needs and goals. The Ikigai tool could serve as a roadmap, creating a platform to achieve your dreams, aspirations and a balanced life. In addition, a Personal Development Plan could lay out the detailed steps to achieve this.
“Madri’s values-centred guidance challenged me to think beyond just a job and focus more on using my strengths and passions. Her uplifting, positive and fun personality makes it easy to open up to and work with her. She is an amazing coach and caring mentor and someone to look up to. Madri sees the best in you and helps you to build a plan for how to put those strengths and passions to work in your position at work.” Hanlie, 2018
MOTIVATION
I have learnt that being different is what sets us apart; that we don’t have to conform to what we think society expects. I believe we all have something unique to offer and that we deserve the chance to do what is true, meaningful and extraordinary for us; doing something that we are passionate about. As your coach, I will meet you where you are at; in other words, what your needs and aspirations are at this stage of your life. Also, I will provide a safe and confidential space where we can brainstorm new ideas and think outside the box to discover what is possible and craft a path to get there.
INSPIRATION
During my midlife crisis or rather as I prefer to call it, my midlife re-construction, I came across the Japanese concept of Ikigai.
“Ikigai means ‘a reason for being’. The word refers to having a direction or purpose in life, that which makes one’s life worthwhile, and towards which an individual takes spontaneous and willing actions giving them satisfaction and a sense of meaning to life.” Wikipedia
